Subterranean Clover germinates from autumn and is considered a winter annual, dying off in November to December after spreading its seeds

Leaves of this species tend to be heart-shaped and are hairy. The flowers of this species are a whitish colour and don’t form a round head like other clover species.

Control

The following active ingredients are suitable for controlling clover in turf: Clopyralid (Archer, Vivendi 300, Versatil or Void) , dicamba (Banvine or Bandit), triclopyr and picloram mix (Victory Gold, Triumph Gold, Tordon Gold or Conquest).
