Technology

NZLA Liquid N features two advanced slow-release mechanisms: Ammonium Stabilised Technology: Reduces nitrogen loss by delaying ammonium conversion to nitrate, providing extended feeding and better soil retention. The second technology: Enhances foliar absorption and internal nitrogen storage, ensuring prolonged and efficient nutrient delivery within the plant. This innovative dual-action formula reduces nitrogen leaching and volatilisation, making it an environmentally friendly solution for sustainable lawn care.

Foliar Application

For optimal results, apply NZLA Liquid N at a rate of 200-500ml per 100m², diluted in 4-10L of water. Use a knapsack sprayer for even coverage, adjusting the water volume as needed to ensure complete leaf absorption. Suitable for bentgrass, fescue, couch, ryegrass, and all common turf varieties.

Depending on Nitrogen levels required application rate can be increased to as much as 1.4L per 100m2, however this isn’t necessary if you’re applying other NZLA products or following our application guide.

Mixing & Application

Application Timing: Apply every 14-28 days or as required for sustained lawn growth and colour enhancement.

Watering & Mowing: Avoid watering for at least 6 hours post-application to maximise nutrient absorption. Refrain from mowing for 24 hours to prevent disruption of nutrient uptake.

Lawn Health: If your lawn exhibits signs of nitrogen deficiency, such as yellowing or slow growth, more frequent applications can help restore vitality.

Compatibility: NZLA Liquid N is compatible with most liquid fertilisers and turf care products. Always conduct a patch test before full application.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

It’s common for this product to be various colours from batch to batch. It’s also common for this product to settle out; give it a shake before use.
